Dosage Rate
Ipanex is dosed at a rate of 13.8 fluid ounces per 100 pounds of cementitious material.

Compatibility with Other Admixtures Including Pozzolans
Ipanex is compatable with admixtures covered by ASTM designations C 260, C 309, C 494, C 618 (Fly Ash Class C and Class F) and C 989. For more than 30 years Ipanex has been tested and used in conjunction with these admixtures as manufactured by W.R. Grace, Master Builders, Sika, Euclid, Axim, Cormix, Gifford Hill and Blue Circle Cement. Ipanex has also been used successfully with lightweight aggregates and fibers.

Air Entrainment
Ipanex will add approximately 1/2% to 1% entrained air. It is recommended that when using Ipanex, the amount of air entrainment admixture be reduced slightly. After adjustments are made, air entrainment will remain consistent from batch to batch.

Slump
Ipanex will add approximately 1/2-inch of slump to the concrete mix.

IPA Systems encourages users of Ipanex admixture to submit concrete mix designs to IPA's Engineering Department for review.
